Perversely, I *had* to do this. I bought my copy off of Steam, so I wasn't getting it to avoid a disk check. The DRM caused constant errors (such as the notorious WS10 Fatal Error), I stopped thinking of it as a crack and more as an "unofficial fan patch" since it actually allowed me to buy my legally bought game.

Though keep in mind that 2GBs of RAM is very respectable already. I'm skeptical adding another 2GBs will improve things noticably. But given the price of RAM at the moment, if it doesn't break bank...

I am glad this has happened. I'm not going to buy it, not even for the Xbox360, I'm not going to pirate it either. When it comes to Ubisoft - I'm picking up my ball and going home, with only Beyond Good & Evil 2 having a chance to change my mind.
